This book is an interesting resource for learning any language, not just Spanish. Please note that this is not a book meant to teach the Spanish language! Instead, So You Want to Learn Spanish? is a helpful resource exploring the many ways that you can learn and keep your language skills.

This short book is an easy read, and Walters clearly lays out some great advice and ideas for learning the language. The format is easy to read and informative without being overwhelming. This would be great for someone who really wants to learn another language, but doesn't know where to start. I sincerely enjoyed this book, and will be coming back to this book again as I work to advance my knowledge of German.

I was excited to get this first reads to help learn some Spanish. I was greatly disappointed because this wasn't about learning Spanish like the title states! It's a how-to guide of how to learn Spanish! So, instead of learning Spanish, it goes through the different avenues(tutoring, audio books, visiting a Spanish country, etc.) of what options are available. I was not happy with the book, because each of the avenues of learning Spanish was pretty self explanatory! Also, did not like the section of if there's trouble in a foreign country to just roll with it, really seemed unnecessary. Anyway, I did not learn much from this book; however I was expecting something completely different!
