I did not remember reading this before but apparently I did, and this time I thought it was okay. It's probably because I've been reading so much manga lately and I'm more attuned to Japanese views on love and sexuality. In any case, this is quite disturbing on many underlying layers, but it also seems to be trying to have slow subtle commentary and character development.
