Wow this book was a journey. I absolutely hated almost the first half of it because it was so tragic and the narration was infuriating throughout. Her thought process is so toxic and disordered this book could trigger so many negative things, you definitely need to be cautious before you pick this one up. It does really picks up and start to come together towards the middle and at that point I couldn’t put it down. It was a super interesting read, and could bring about a lot of thought provoking and crucial conversations. I would’ve liked to follow the story a little further. It didn’t have the ending that ties all the loose ends, but I just felt hope for her that maybe this is when things will finally turn around and she can find the person she really is under all that trauma/toxic thoughts and behaviors.
