This is a fun Beachy read for those that like movies like Crazy Stupid Love. Happy ending with some relationship drama of several varieties, believable characters, and a gorgeous setting.

Listening to this audiobook did allow me to read something heavier at the same time. I needed something like a beach read to counterbalance my other book. I didn’t really like any of the characters in this book and the plot is cheesy as hell.

The first Elin Hilderbrand novel that I did not enjoy. None of the characters are likeable and they all seemed stuck up/narcissistic. I think Hilderbrand made them so quirky that they ended up on the side of annoying. The drama between Hollis and Gigi just fell flat for me even though I thought there was potential there. Also did not understand the point of trying to relit the romance between Hollis and Jack only for him to go back to his ex?

A sweet little book, well written and medium light. Well-voiced, believable characters and dialogue. I'll be looking up other books by this author.
