A trip down memory lane. I remember this book from when I was 10 and wanted to revisit it. It didn't disappoint.

Sappy teen romance yet still very well written and touching enough to get a dreamy sigh out of me and longing for romance.

Jane writes sports for the school paper, Adam is the cocky jock on the Lacrosse team.
You'll never guess what happens.
Oh wait, of course you will.
I read this after being reminded of when talking about YA books we'd loved as kids. I managed to find it on amazon and wanted to read it for no real reason.
It's actually not a bad re-read, but obvious, I'm way too old for it now.

Re-read it after about 10 years of forgetting about this series. Pretty cute. Not as good as I remembered.

So, I'm finished and I don't feel compelled to lie awake in bed and ponder any of the event in this novel. In my opinion pondering is when you know you've read a truly amazing book. While this wasn't truly amazing, it wasn't too shabby either.

Jane uses her snark to hide her vulnerability, while Adam appears to be just another cocky jock. The scene where he sees her bruises after the lacrosse game... Oh it kills me. LOVE.
