Maisie Hill's overall message is a strong and worthy one, but I do feel the book is seriously lacking in summarisation and is highly repetitive at times. I also felt that the author's bias came off a little too strong in certain chapters; for example, the tone in which Hill comments on vegan/vegetarian diets was a little too critical for my liking (in comparison to the others mentioned) which left me feeling disappointed.

Why is no-one teaching people with ovaries this??? Ugh. Took me a long time to finish because it’s really biographical but so interesting to learn more about my body and how hormones can make you feel a certain way.
[in addition:] I LOVED this book because it is really inclusive. She uses inclusive terms and also writes about how being of color/black relates to getting help or healthcare. I also loved that she mentioned Asian people in particular because they are often not included when it comes to racism.
Furthermore it really teaches you everything you need to know about your period, hormones, biological terms, which foods will help you during PMS and so much more. I would recomment to read it in Dutch if you're not familiar with bio information like me, because I sometimes had a hard time understanding all those words. I know that @damnhoneyhetboek wrote the translation of this book and I am sure they have done a splendid job. I am going to read the translation too, just because I really want to grasp every word of this book.
