I absolutely loved this book!
Imagine going through your life, and then all of a sudden, you can’t recognize anybody’s face, even your best friend. This exact situation happens to Sadie at the worst possible moment: she’s a portrait artist and just got selected as a finalist in a career-defining competition.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sadie’s journey throughout the book, especially as she explored her relationships with Joe, Sue, and her family. Joe was such a great leading man (i almost cried when he said “I’ll be Joe for you, if you want.”), and the serendipity of the ending was spectacular and makes the reader think about fate with romantic partners. I know I’ll be thinking about Joe and Sadie long after I closed this book.
Thank you so much to Netgalley, the publisher, and Katherine Center for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Sorry to Center, but what is this book? I loved The Bodyguard, so I was excited to pick up another book by Katherine Center. Unfortunately, the main character is just so grating and negative I could not put up with it.
Also why foes she feed her dog anything but dog food?! Whack.

I will admit I was skeptical about this book in the beginning, but once I got through the first few chapters, I was hooked. This was so cute and different than most romance novels.

I can’t tell if we weren’t supposed to realize that all the guys were the same, since I knew from the very beginning. It was very annoying that she wasn’t realizing it.
I mean, I’m sorry, but there is No Way that a veterinarian doesn’t ask how her dog is doing, and they don’t clarify his first name, ever.
Also, Sue isn’t a very good friend, and her stepsister is a cartoon villain.

The characters had no connection. The plot was spotty at best. I felt nothing reading this.

Cheesy, but sweet. I will never take my ability to recognize faces for granted now! I’m grateful to the author for bringing awareness to face blindness, and I especially loved her author’s note at the end in defense of romance novels and the hope and joy that they give us.
