This was a fast, steamy but sweet read. I really enjoyed both characters and the way the story ultimately ended.

The spice scenes weren't personally my thing but I respect their determination and perseverance to make the size difference work. I really appreciated that the author went "you know what? there is such a thing as too big" and went this route!

I would LOVE to learn more about the Skarr culture, see more of the Skarr clan, and get that sense of hope that this isn't the end for them. Would also love to see more of their tender, gentle animal care. I'm definitely going to read book 2 but I'm hoping the series will return to these Skarr in the mountains. I want a HEA for everyone!

This was a short and sweet monster romance, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it. I liked how the main characters care about animals and try to help them.

This was the biggest size difference monster romance I've ever read. Patrek is a giant, truly. He will not fit, ladies; that's answered right away. I wasn't sure how the spicy scenes were going to work, but Patrek and Maja figured out how to please each other. Be warned that the scenes are descriptive, and there's lots of liquids...

I did not give it a full five stars because I wish it was a little longer, and they had a little more time to get to know each other in the beginning.
