when will authors learn that an entire book of conflict cannot be resolved in the last ten pages? the storyline about nick AND the main plot point of her mother. it felt so forced and awful.
also, i’m sorry but i hated nora. she was spoiled and nothing was good enough for her. each time i read “she sighed louder because no one seemed to notice the first time” i got even more upset which i didn’t think was possible.

This was good fun, but it irked me that the problematic characters were just kind of accepted and forgiven even though their actions were pretty harmful? The mum's behaviour the whole way through was grosssss tbh, and the guy wasn't great either??

This story is the story of a teen trying to fin her place in the world, sharing how difficult that may be on your own. So don't be afriad to let others in on the trip to help you on your adventure called life.
SpoilerNora needs to find out who she is, while tyring to impress her grandfather with her artwork. To add on to the presure, her Mom tags along to try to "make a better conection".

I enjoyed this book from front to back. It was interesting to see the relationship between Nora, the main character, and her mother. I like how they patched things up at the end. That was nice to see. Taylor Swift was mentioned a lot through this novel, but I don’t mind though. I’m a fan of Taylor. The writing was excellent. I didn’t find any typing errors. So kudos to both the author and the editor. They did a superb job with the writing and editing.

I was hoping for much more in this one and was left disappointed. The main character started off with so much privilege and everything handed to her, so I was hoping for some growth. Alas, we never saw any inkling that she was learning or working harder as an artist, but again, things miraculously just "work out" which is nice for a happy ending but lousy for a story.
