2.5 stars. unfortunately this book is narrated by my two least favourite characters and this ended up probably being my least favourite in the series, i found myself skipping over chunks. however it still has an interesting plot and it was nice to see the girls powers develop and grow.

A wonderful installation to the series! We finally get to see all the girls come back together, and wow it does not disappoint! With all the power they have, it's really great to see the stakes so high, to see so much of the groundwork that began in the first five books come together and give us a story like no other. I really hope more will be coming in this world! Disclosure: I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this was a nice conclusion to the series, however, after the ending, there must be more Akiko content, my curiosity has been piqued!

All I imagined and more...

I anticipated this reunion among friends since the end of the first book, and each subsequent book only cranked my enthusiasm up a notch. I was not disappointed!! These friends are true family to each other and now I’m curious to see how they will find their way back to each other. They’ve scattered across the realm! And Petra...! That girl is amazeballs!!
I need moooooooore!!

I thought this book in the series was actually the weakest. It felt rushed and disjointed. I think bringing angels and demons into an elemental storyline was a poor decision. It felt out of place. It was a big disappointment. So many loose ends.

Well, it was all very... Slow but rushed. Kinda boring. I would've liked more from Akiko.
