Non che sia una fan di Cass Elliot o di The Mamas & The Papas, ma mi piace la storia della musica e le biografie di personaggi che questa storia l'hanno fatta.
Ovviamente non sapevo quasi nulla, se non che avesse una bella voce. Invece ha avuto una vita interessante, per quanto tristemente breve.

I came into this expecting nothing, and I don't really care for The Mamas and the Papas, but this book surprised me.

Just another biographical graphic novel about someone I only knew a little about. Definitely captures a time and a place and a life. And hints at cause and effect. This is not deep and super informative. But it added color to some of the Laurel Canyon stuff I had read previously. With good enough art. And really good pacing.
