I really enjoyed this book. It was a real quick read and although the ending had a somewhat predictable twist at the end parts still really surprised me. I would definitely recommend this book and author. I look forward to reading the next book in the series now.

Starts off well but the main character grows less likeable as the book goes on. The plot also goes off the rails about 2/3 of the way in. Supporting characters are flimsy and also unsympathetic. Ending felt rushed.

A good first book to a series. The main character has compelling unique features and the story builds suspense throughout. The potential is there for a good or better series. This is a solid middle 3.5 book for someone who likes John Sandford, Lee Child or Robert Crais series.

This was my first Steve Hamilton book. I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more of his books.

Two homicidal maniacs in one book is one too many, but this was entertaining enough that I'll go on to the next in the series.
