Bedtime for Batman is a great book that makes the ritual of getting ready for bed so much more fun! These bedtime superheroes take baths and cleans up crime at the same time! The illustrations are lively and vibrantly hued. Great book for the preschool set.

This is a trimmed down version of my review, to view the full review visit The Book Ramble.

I received a copy of this book from Entangled Publishing on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This children's picture book follows Batman and one of his young fans as they prepare for the night with their own rituals. While Batman prepares to take on the villains of Gotham, one young boy prepares for bed. The picture book is adorable both in story and art, taking its visual cues from The New Batman Adventures the book presents a bedtime story perfect for any little girl or boy that loves Batman.

I thought this book was basically the perfect story for sending your kids off to bed with. The book is all about preparing for bedtime, so going through the rituals of the Bat-fan and Batman basically preps your kid to go to bed too. I really liked the contrasting setup with opposing pages showing both Batman and Bat-fan opposite each other through each step of the process too.

The art was adorable and perfect for fans of the old animated shows. I think the art direction was the best part of the book for me.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book for kids and parents alike.

Cute kids book, double points because it included Batman. Read it in like 3 minutes. But all and all it wasn't the best kids book. Without the inclusion of Batman it probably would not have caught my attention. The artwork is also solid, seamlessly blending the dark tones of the Dark Knight with cool tones that kids love.

Solid 3/5---Really wish it was more engaging and less generic

Perfect bed time book for Batman fans. A small boy and Batman both tackle challenges at night. The little boy gets ready for bed as Batman fights crime.

One of the rituals of getting kids ready for bed is reading to them, at least it was for me. And having a book about going to sleep is always appropriate. And, if they are comic book fans (or cartoon series fans), this will appeal to them.

As goodnight books go, this is a simple story, but very well juxtaposed. It shows the boy and batman going about their routine and doing sort of the same things. The boy puts on his pajamas, and Batman puts on his costume. The boy puts away his toys. Batman puts away the villains.

And just look at the cute kid make-believing he is batman.

Only qualm I have, as usual, is that there aren't enough books out their like this for girls. Girls read comic books and enjoy cartoons too. And I should know, since I was one such girl.

Thanks to Netgalley for providing this book for an honest review.

This was cute. I loved the art style. It was a short read, but hey! I'm not a kid, just a Batman fan. :D If I had kids this would be on the shelf.

An adorable picture big equating a superhero protecting the city with a child getting ready for bed. Very entertaining and engaging. I loved the fun comparison illustrations and vague statements that connected the boy with Batman ("For there are those who depend on him." = child feeding goldfish and Batman returning a stolen purse). Very clever and fun.

The book even includes a short "Bedtime Checklist!", which includes tasks such as "bath", "pajamas", "teeth", and "story time". A fun way to get ready for bed with your favorite superhero.

A very nice, simple book for superhero fans.
