I’m giving up on the series. Audiobook narration is delightful but the amount of cruelty and harm to the dragons makes me uncomfortable. Honestly I don’t think this is a series I would be comfortable reading with my kids.

We get some new characters in this one, further expanding the world. I definitely liked those additions! It expands the world in a fun way. Hiccup and Toothless are great fun as always, and Hiccup learned to stand up to his dad in this one. As always, the narration is spot on.

Another easy enjoyable read. Even as a 20 y/o reading these is so good, and I’m reminded of why I love these books every time I read them. The endings and epilogues always make me tear up.
