All that arguing is getting on my nerves. As usual with enemies to lovers romances. Idk why I keep trying that trope when I obviously hate it. You’ll never catch me picking up a contemporary enemies to lovers romance again unless it’s by an author that I already love.

Absolutely stunning

I read this book on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It made me laugh, cry, blush and just really FEEL what the MCs were feeling. Truly a beautiful story that I couldn't put down.

I wish i would’ve loved this more like other people and i think i did really enjoy it. but it was missing something and it was jaw dropping. it was a realistic romantic story about a widow falling in love with her late husbands best friend. it was a long book with not that much that happened but it had its sweet moments. i’m interested to see Chris and mal’s book!

My first JL Seegars book and I am a fan for life! Listen, I usually can't stand when books are written in present tense instead of being told (ie. He looks at her instead of he looked at her) BUT minor issue cause when I say completely well written and just beautiful story! Whew, I'm not going to give it away, but I could tell that Dom had a school yard crush, I just wish like every other book people would just communicate and make all their lives easier, but then how would we have drama right?! Ok, hands down, amazing.

Question to anyone, in this situation, could you be in Sloan's position and live your truth with no regrets?
