This was my least favorite of the series because Alexander and Zanaya were less interesting to me. It took me a while to care about them as characters, but once I did it was more fun to read.

This felt a lot like a filler book for me, even if there were some things that were resolved. I think that maybe, I didn’t care as much about the main characters as other characters present in this series. I did love learning something about a special someone who is close to Raphael, though ;)

I waited for this book with so much impatience and honestly it delivered so well. Just like every one of Nalini’s books. The story of Alexander and Zenaya over the millennia was just so beautiful and inspiring I loved it !

What I liked about this book is that it follows the story of Alexander & Zanaya from the beginning, thousands of years ago. But at the same time, it was frustrating because they kept making the same mistakes...

Story of Ancient archangels Alexander and Zanaya. First half is their history and second half is ten years post Lijuan and the cascade. Fast paced and good story telling. Setting up for the next installment. I liked Alexander’s relationship with his grandson and Calliane / Rafael

Talk about a slow burn. I loved seeing Nasir’s origin story. This could be read as a standalone, but it would be more satisfying if you read all of the books in the series.
