“I have both been given and taken so many identities, but at last I am beginning to grow into my one true name.
This was the gift my mother gave to me: Hope.”
― Teri Terry, Shattered
You guys have to read this! An excellent conclusion to an excellent series, One of the best dystopians out there! Lovely.

A very mixed bag to end what is overall a good YA trilogy.
Shattered started out so strong with a tour de force of twists, turns and reveals throughout the book. The characters are incredibly well written with such complexities, they're never just black and white.
Terry wrote an intricate plot with complex characters throught the 3 books, I couldn't wait to see how it ended.
The climax was intense, and action packed and was let down by a disappointing, rushed and flat ending. I felt Terry had left too many loose ends of the plot and had only a few lines to tidy them up.
This could have easily been a 5* book for me except for the odd romances that felt shoehorned in (), an overly optimistic and easy ending, and not enough details of what happened to the other characters.
While I have mixed feelings, I would still recommend the Slated trilogy as a solid example of the YA genre.
