Just another pathetic modern example of 'world building' the most hollow and empty thing ever introduced in the propaganda of our fascist world (and it makes simpletons rich). It's all about design and the art is some bad Western version of anime, an already inherently bad style of art aside from its few early creators. There is no apparent theme, and the plot is a series of bad wisecracks, posturing villain tropes, or empty commentary on what is visually portrayed, interspersed with action sequences that are so incoherent that they could have used captions (not to mention that Kasa's quiver seems never to run out of arrows, even though she's running around and spilling them and it often appears as if there are just 5, and then it will be full 3 panels later). It's a mash up of Max Max and Tank Girl and not in a good way. The characters are lifeless and unmemorable, as if they were cliches rolled up for a D and D game.

Tradetown is the only interesting thing here, a wholly Capitalistic State that has virtually no rules except against violence, which it fascistically enforces. Sounds a lot like human society and the modern age, but this is no Alan Moore or Aldous Huxley critique of society.

It's just a dumb quest with an imaginary world at its core.

How boring.

This was cool. The art style wasn't bad and the plot is fairly quick paced. Overall, fairly basic. It's nothing special, but it is mildly entertaining.

Too much going on, too quickly, but it’s fun. When you’ve large casts like this, it’s best to introduce everyone slowly otherwise you feel like you’re meeting someone new every page. The funky style and the color palette give this story personality.

If the storytelling improves, I’d read volume two.

And Rumbler dude’s Bang! Reminds me so much of Yusuke’s spirit bomb. I say this in a positive affectionate way. Every time he uses it, it’s interesting.

Fun post-apocalyptic adventure

Liked the art, the characters, the dialogue, and the story.
Set in a future where everyone has a special power, a sister gets a ragtag crew to save her brother whose power has attracted unwanted attention. The story would probably be very dour if it wasn't for the characters' banter which was (in my opinion) quite enjoyable.
