I received a copy of this book from Voracious Readers.

Just noting that this isn't my kink or fetish - the story sounded interesting and fun.

This is a short story about Dottie and her manager Harold meeting outside of work and having a relationship sexual in nature. Dottie does artwork online via livestreams to make money and for self-interest. One of the friends she has online inspires her constantly to create new artwork - this online friend is her manager back at the office. One day, Harold sees her artwork and asks for it, realising that Dottie is the artist, he practically begs to get to know her and Dottie obliges.

I read a little bit online about Dolcett and it doesn't seem that bad. It's not about pain or hurting other people, there's a lot around consent. In the story they pretty much only talk about what they want to to do each other as opposed to actually doing it. I honestly thought this was really cute and I like the older guy, younger girl trope -- especially since Dottie isn't like 18, 19 - she's 24. The ending of the book was pretty funny and I really felt for Harold.

3.5/5.
