Great book. Covers the history of Islam from before its teachings were sent down to the Prophet PBUH from Gabriel, to present day. Discusses Islam's history and it's influences all throughout the globe. Good for going back to take notes- this will always be a resource to go back to and reference.

A really nice overview of Islamic history from the time of the Prophet pbuh to modern day. I think this is essential reading for Western born Muslims who are detached from their cultural and religious heritage, but also to non-muslims, as this book brings attention to parts of history traditionally neglected by our curriculums during school and further studies.

easy 5 stars!! Managing to summarize such an extensive topic in only one book with a language thats not too academic nor too simple is actually remarkable
