So, confession time, I enjoy some reality TV - I think it’s one of the best genres to just “switch off” to. I also really enjoyed the TV show “Unreal” which was a fictional show that followed the producer of a dating show 📺

This book follows Fizzy, who is a romance writer and Connor who is a documentary producer. The company Connor works for wants to try a different direction and tasks him with producing a dating show that makes use of the DNA matchmaking that we saw in The Soulmate Equation 🧬

I really recommend reading The Soulmate Equation first as there’s quite a few references to it in this book and you’ll gain a better understanding/knowledge of the characters 🖤 This book contains spoilers for The Soulmate Equation ‼️

If you like forbidden romance, forced proximity, angst, tension, great dialogue and contemporary romcom, you’ll enjoy this book - bonus points if you like reality TV/find it interesting ✨

I LOVE A CONTESTANT FALLING FOR A PRODUCER!! This is achingly sweet, tender, spicy etc etc all the best things about a romantic comedy. I LOVED CONNOR SO MUCH, he was such a great dad!

i absolutely loved this book! i have rarely read such a charming and innovative story featuring such incredibly lovable characters! the storyline was amazing and cute and fun and sad and everything at once. it had me laughing, crying, squeaking out loud and almost throwing the book across the room. i also adored how the authors chose to write the spicy scenes! i have literally never ever in my life read such beautifully crafted spicy scenes that dripped of the character's adoration for eacht other - it was painfully beautiful. this book was really something and i'm sure i won't forget it easily and wish i could read it for the first time again.
