Got this when amazon was having the "stuff your kindle day" so I got this book for $0.00. So this was a 5 star read for me.
I ate this book up. There was just something about it that held on to me and wouldn't let me go. I loved the main male character. He is my book boyfriend for life. Finished this in one day.

I’m so freaking excited about this debut! I didn’t know how much I needed a Ghostface in my life but now….now I do. I was hooked from page 1! The chemistry?? Dear God. I adored the visuals, and the buildup was delicious the whole way through. The suspense was solid, and I loved every minute! Bex and Jai are relationship gold, even before they seriously date the tension was hot!

This one could have been SO FUN and just.. so much better, but the writing was clunky and cheesy enough that it took away from the actual story 😭
It’s a quick read with a solid bit of who-dunnit, and was fun enough that I’d recommend it but definitely with those few caveats mentioned above.

3.5 stars. Could’ve been 4 stars, but the ending was rushed.
edit: found out that the author is rude so i have reduced the rating. i also have to agree that this book was way too rushed and that the crime/detective scenes were very unrealistic. this plot was amazing though and would have enjoyed this book more if it wasn’t so rushed.
