i’m not normally a huge fan of mainstream romance novels, especially romance novels with spicy scenes but this book lived up to the expectations. i throughly enjoyed my experience with this book. the characters are fairly reasonable romance novel characters and they have very stereotypical characteristics but the book does not feel boring. very solid romance novel.

i hate that i liked this book because Rowan is such a possessive asshole. if he hadn’t said that stupid ass line about how Zahra isn’t allowed around anyone who isn’t “family or female” my rating would have been higher but my GOD really??? it’s one thing to have a morally gray billionaire asshole but it’s another for him to be misogynistic AFTER he has supposedly changed so that Zahra agrees to get back with him
