The characters were mediocre and you really could've loved them. You can tell the author gave Vince a dog to give him "a redeeming quality" which was a bit disappointing.
The smut scenes were good but again she rushes through the plot and the actual good part of the story. It feels like she gets bored of writing a book so she hurries an adequate ending so she can keep pumping out other story lines instead of developing one good quality line

Mafia fun
Choppy read but fun. Wish it hadn’t been so short and fleshed out more. Still a fun quick read. Three stars

What can I say? Becca from Dirty Dom is my favorite heroine in the series so far. However, when it comes to the men - VINCE has my heart!
His caretaking mixed with his primal claiming of Elle is a perfect balance. Every single moment of the book had me enthralled in the developing story between these two being added to the story of the Valetti’s. I felt horrible for the way Elle’s mom treated her because I think most of us have at least one family member like that. A bad parent is upsetting in a whole different way. The way Vince helped Elle draw the boundaries that she struggled to because it was what she needed is something I can only dream of in a partner.
The extra scenes with Dante were much appreciated because learning more about the parents is what I’ve been yearning for. I was not ready for this story to end. I RAN to download the extended epilogue! I’m truly happy I did because I was sobbing tears of joy at the love these two have for each other. Ya know, now that they’ve made it past the whole “gotta kidnap you & make you forget what you saw” thing. Hahaha.

Better
To me this book was better than the first one. I like the drama lasted throughout the whole book. It kept it interesting
