This book might have taken me 13 days, but it was still amazing and when I would pick it up, I couldn't put it down. It made me think a lot.

'In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since. Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone, he told me, just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had.'

The book starts off with this brilliant line, setting up a base for what the story has in store.
Did not know this was a love story, a tragic one at that.
Will re read for sure.

Was gatsby a little crazy for still being in love with a girl from 5 years ago? Yes. But he was a crazy romantic so that makes it okay. Furthermore, fuck every other character (Nick is on thin ice).
