What can I say about this book?! It was definitely interesting. The book is short, easy to follow, and brilliantly captures the atmosphere of the 1920s, a period of extravagance and social change in America. The engaging plot pulls you into that world, making you curious about what has happened and eager to see what will happen next. In my opinion, the highlight of The Great Gatsby is its final chapter, where everything comes together, and the true meaning of the story shines through. The brilliance of the author is in how he builds up to that moment, making us question whether we can really bring the past back if we try hard enough. It also reflects on what truly matters in life and how people can become blinded by things that, in the end, may not be as important as they seem.

“It’s a really good book! You should try it again!” said my friend.
So I did. My two star review stands.

It didn't feel like a literary masterpiece though the writing was phenomenal, it wad more like a twisted tale of flawed people and their entangled lives in the roaring twenties.
I didnt even knew daisy was a hated character.
I liked her. She made practical and responsible choices(for a woman in the 1920s).
She literally was living with a husband she knew was cheating on her.
The apparent love of her life consistently lied to her and had built an image of her that was far away from who she was and expected a lot more from her than she could offer.
She had it pretty rough guys, well apart from the financial security but you get the point.
