I always enjoy these books but they put pounds on my bottom! I've tried several of the recipes and loved them.

I love the Goldy series and this-the 12th so far, is no exception. In between finding dead bodies and worrying about her son, Goldy cooks up some mouth-watering dishes (The Whole Enchilada Pie, Goldy’s Nuthouse Cookies, and Handcuff Croissants) and Diane Mott-Davidson is generous enough to include them all in the book for us! This time however, they are all together at the end of the novel, rather than interspersed throughout the pages popping up whenever Goldy has time enough to put them together!

Definitely the best Davidson book I've read. Entertaining as always!

Finally Goldy's ex is out of the picture. Maybe she can start living her life without the fear he implemented on her. I feel for Arch I really do but a child can only handle so much.

Ding Dong the Jerk is dead! Man, this book has twists and turns! Lots of reveals, but I liked how they helped show character growth. I was also glad Arch had some good character development. I think we were all getting aggravated.

Another Davidson mystery I enjoyed. I don't seek out mystery novels, as I think I OD'd on them when I was younger (I read everything Agatha Christie I could find, and a few others -- pretty much exclusively)
However, this was a good mystery, and I do really like Goldy. Even if she is dumb sometimes. Her husband (whom I think in the last book I read we had met, but he wasn't a prospect yet) -- I didn't see the twist coming, and I like that. I did pick up on some of the clues, many of which were red herrings - deliberately put there by the murderer...fascinating.
