Wow this book will take u on a ride.. this book is a love that happen then Becca and Mercy were kids. Mercy has been keeping a eye on Becca since the day in the store when Becca stand up to Mercy Dad. Mercy is a man that protects women from bad men and save them. Mercy feels he is a bad person tell he spends time Becca the grownup women of the little girl that saved his life from his dad. This book will take you on Dark twisted turns and will have hard time putting book down as the story keeps wanting more and needing to know what will happen as this is a ride worth every emotions you feel.

Added to One of my All Time Favorite Reads
From the very first page I knew that this book was going to take a piece of my heart. This is my first book by Debra Anastasia and I am just floored by how much this story means to me! To say that I am obsessed with Nix is a severe understatement.
I don’t even know where to begin…I guess first and foremost it should be stated that this is a Dark/Stalker Romance. So, reader’s going into this book should be aware that this isn’t a light hearted world. It is filled with violence, child abuse, dark elements, it’s bloody, and the spice is very yummy.
While reading this I was constantly comparing Fenix to Batman, if Batman was 10x more badass and on a much darker spectrum. The level of care that was put into his character is chef’s kiss

Wow wow wow, ya'll top 10-maybe top 5 of this year. Definitely 5 star deserving.
I have no other words to give rn other than: I have bought the other two in this series. I was left with the residual energy that pushes books into my 5 star status. I wish I could be with the characters irl and only hope I can bring my own to life a fraction as these.

I don’t know what I expected from this book when I picked it up on a whim, but I couldn’t put it down.
Read it all in one sitting, and was eager for more. I was surprised by how sweet and sensitive Fenix was, and I found his character to be so endearing and protective. Some “stalker romances” can be so over the top, and feature male characters who are rude and unlovable. Mercy was refreshing, I loved him.
I related to Becca in several ways, especially in her relationship dynamic with her mother. I’m so pleased her character found her own way, and broke free of the weight of the expectations placed upon her.
This story is proof that even an unlikely pairing can be successful when everyone’s motives are pure.

I think this is now my favorite Debra Anastaisa books! WOW. I just couldn't pull myself away from this book. Everything about it was perfect; the characters, the plot, the romance.
There were times that I was thrown off by the suddenness of the romance but then afterwards looking back on it I saw how sweet it actually was. Fenix has been watching and protecting Becca since she met him and his horrible father. The level that he goes to protect her, one could call creepy and stalkerish. ...I wouldn't. I wouldn't because why he does it, but more importantly because he KNOWS he is. He doesn't delude himself about what he's doing. He calls himself her stalker and accepts that.
I loved thier first meeting. And their second. And tenth... But really, when they do finally first come face to face, his reaction is so sweet. He's watching her, knowing her, and is finally talking to her which only solidifies every dream he has of her. She of course has no idea who he is, but the slow trust she puts in him, which eventually turns to friendship and soon, romance is so tingly.
He's a unique character too. I mean, how many heros do you know who are covered head to toe in a skeleton tattoo?

Ok esta posiblemente sea una reseña larga.
Primero que nada quiero decir que una de las grandes razones para hacerme una cuenta en goodreads es para surrarme en este libro, para que lo tengan en cuenta.
El libro sale varias veces en las recomendaciones como novela del género dark romance y oh boy. Es una cagada, me molesta el personaje de Fenix y ok entiendo que no va a ser un protagonista con una buena carga moral ni va a ser tu hombre ideal pero es que es insufrible este vato, cada vez que había un capítulo desde su POV( punto de vista) siempre pero SIEMPRE esta mencione que odia a su padre, que extraña a su mamá y que detesta a su progenitor, ¿ya mencioné que aborrece la existencia de su padre? sip, entiendo que lo que vivió con el asesinato es un gran trauma y eso marca de por vida a una persona, pero joder... es como si la personalidad de Fenix se basara sólamente en perseguir a su padre y ser un esqueleto.
Que hablando de sus tatuajes pues no sé bro, solo puedo decir que solo una persona mentalmente inestable se tatuaría el cuerpo e incluso su propia cara de un esqueleto. Yo la verdad es algo que nunca he entendido esto de los gringos y es que estos autores escriben a personajes ultra tatuados como alguien hermoso cuando bueno, en México por lo menos solo puedo pensar en alguien así como un cholo o narco, entonces nop no es nada deseable ver a un hombre trastornado con un tatuaje grande en la cara.
Otra cosa que me parece muy gracioso es que el autor te explica que Fenix es "hacker" (aunque se nota que el autor no sabe nada de programación ni de computadoras porque nunca da detalles de como hace para meterse a base de datos o tan siquiera como programar una app) y que aparte de eso es un sicario,asesina personas y todavía al morro le da el tiempo para estar acosando y acechando a Rebecca, no soy experta en la vida criminal pero dudo mucho que a un sicario tenga mucho tiempo libre para hacer otras actividades como PROGRAMAR APPS dios mío como me dio risa eso. Que hablando de hacking si este morro es experto en computadoras y entrar en sistemas, ¿por qué no buscó a su padre en la bases de datos? que yo sepa en USA tienen bases de datos de todo, de récords criminales, existen bases de datos incluso donde puedes sabes si tu vecino es un criminal sexual. Pero no, es tan pendejo que tardó AÑOS en ubicar a su padre a pesar de que sea alcohólico y no creo que sea muy astuto para esconderse pero ok queen. Esto pasa seguido en este libro que hay varios puntos de la excusa de trama que son ridículos, ya ni siquiera puedo decir que no tiene sentido, no no, es que simplemente no encontrarías este tipo de escritura ni en un cuento escrito por un niño de 12 años. Como por ejemplo que el papá de Fénix que estaba buscando a Rebecca para conseguir venganza ¿osea qué? ¿acaso este señor no tiene mejores cosas que hacer con su pedorra vida que buscar a una niña como de 8 años que hace años lo regañó en un super? por muy teporochito o marihuano que sea, no es posible que un señor se acuerde de ese detalle de hace años, totalmente estúpido e irrealista. Este libro es tan tonto que ni siquiera pudieron pensar en un antagonista decente para su historia cuando Fénix es un puto criminal ¿hola? pudieron poner fácilmente a otros sicarios o criminales que hubieran querido secuestrar a Rebecca simplemente para darle en la madre a don esqueleto.
Ahora hablando de Rebecca ¿Qué le pasa a esta morra? No, en serio me preocupa este personaje osea me está diciendo que EN CUESTIÓN DE DÍAS te enamoraste de Fénix, lo siento mucho pero aunque estos personajes estuvieran en un romance normal me seguiría pareciendo muy artificial esta relación. Además me molestó que aceptara sin problemas que Fénix estuvo espiándola por años, yo esperaría que cualquier morra aparte de estar asustada al menos tardara este personaje en perdonar a don esqueleto pero no, en cuestión de capítulos hasta ya quiere ser su esposa... ridícula.
¿Podemos hablar de como al final ella misma se tatuó la cara de un esqueleto por un morro? HOLA JAJAJJAJAJAJ wadafaaaaaaaaaaaak ¿amiga estás bien? dios mío y yo pensaba que era naco y humillante cuando las muchachas se tatuaban el nombre de sus novios, esto es otro nivel. Definitivamente ella tampoco está bien de la cabeza, los dos se merecen.
Como punto final "Mi princesa esqueleto" JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJ holy shit que mamadota fue eso que se aventó don esqueleto, me dicen eso en la cara y les echo ácido se los juro. Creo que es de los diálogos más pendejos que he leído en alguna novela en mi perra vida.
Definitivamente el libro más ridículo que he leído por el momento no lo recomiendo ni como servitoalla para secar la grasa excesiva de una milanesa de pollo.

This was unique and quirky. I thought it would be darker. I really liked it, not what I was expecting so it was kind of a treat.
The characters were really likable and the story kept me interested throughout. Nice little surprise of a book.
