I thought the story was well written, but I do have to agree with the many reviews complaining about the “diary” chapters. They were not diary entries, but entire stories being told in first person, with detailed dialogue and everything.
I suspected what happened to Stevie pretty early on, and I was like 90% right. 🤪

The book is a bit interesting but at one point these renegade women who are raped, band raped and killed and yet still feel the need to act as the lone investigators is making little sense to me. Not to mention the lack of any police investigation.
The ending...well that's another story all together. It is so unbelievable that, for me, it was utterly disappointing.

I picked it up thinking it was a different book on my TBR list. I realized it wasn’t and didn’t really want to read another book about the beach 🙄 but then I started it and got sucked in. It’s not your typical beach read, I promise! It had me guessing and did not see the end coming! Glad I decided to read it.

I couldn't stop reading the book until I finished, but then the plot did not get me. It's a good thriller and a fast paced book, so I recommend it.

Let me save you some time and just take this off your want to read list…if you HAVE to read this book if you read chapters 1-3 and chapters 29-31 you won’t miss a thing. This was a bad read.

This was so good!! I wasn’t even expecting it to take the turn it did at the end. I read in a day and it kept me on my toes. Definitely should read.
