These two are by far my favorite. Like I think every single Beverly Jenkins book because my favorite in that moment. Like I was obsessed with these two. She's so strong and he always kept finding her. I loved these two. It was great.

As usual with Beverly Jenkins this was highly enjoyable. Great characters with full lives and backstories. Interesting bits of black history are sprinkled into the text. I had no idea that Wyoming was the first state, in 1870, to allow women to vote and there were no restrictions on race, property ownership, etc.

Just really good, from start to finish. I enjoyed the whole thing. I love that it was a romance AND a western. A perfect combination! There's some violence, so be forewarned if that's not really your thing.
