My 2021 review: Honestly, mythology just isn’t my bag. But I could listen to Neil talk all day long, so listening to him tell these stories was fun and mindless. Thor is my forever fave.
My 2017 review: A fun jaunt through Asgard, Midgard, and Utgard. Filled with humor and murder and trickery and even a little bit of love.

The dulcet tones of Neil Gaiman could make any book good, but this one truly is excellent.

Most of my exposure to Norse mythology came from the Marvel Thor movies so it was really cool to see where they adapted it from and what they changed. The idea of Ragnarok is really intriguing to me, and I like the idea of death and rebirth. I think Gaiman tells the stories really well and infuses just the right amount of humor into them. A fun read!
