i don’t know how to feel. this book disappointed me majorly. i was so excited to read it but it fell flat for me. rowan and zahra’s relationship felt fabricated and their chemistry was just.. not there. the romance was cringy and mediocre to me. i enjoyed certain parts but i skimmed over most of it. the concept was there, but it wasn’t executed well. i didn’t care about rowan really at all and zahra just annoyed me. HOW MANY TIMES ARE THESE CHARACTERS GOING TO THROW THEIR HEAD BACK AND LAUGH?? needless to say i didn’t really like it. it also took me ages to finish.

I FINALLY FINISHED READING THIS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I just want to say I love ani SO MUCH especially the friendship she has with rowan. I wish we got to see more of the kane brothers together especially cal. imo I think if we got to see some flashbacks or rowan asking Zahra about the relationship she had with his grandpa would've been really sweet. I would also like to add that I really loved Zahra s and rowan s witty banter. alas this was hands down one of the best romances I ve ever read

first half yay second half nay

also hate the “i’m pretending to be someone else and texting you to talk to you” trope

rowan really annoyed me towards the end .. how can a grown man be that fucking clueless it wasn’t even sad anymore i just felt annoyed .. and his ways of trying to apologize .. “let me explain while making a gingerbread house together” i can’t believe he thought it would work he acted like it was a big deal to do it alone and sent her a pic and was like i miss you? dude lmaooooo

he starts dating this girl and being anything but casual and then goes “wow i was being casual idk what u mean i’m sorry it wasn’t my intention to hurt when i called all of this a mistake” .. what a dumbass

three stars bc i did like the beginning a lot it just fell flat towards the end

This book was absolutely addicting. I love Disney and it felt like being transported to the parks! This book was also grumpy x sunshine excellence.

Книга непогана, історія постійно асоціювалася з казками Діснея (скоріш за все саме через парк, в якому працювали головні герої)
Сподобалося, що в книзі висвітлюють людей з обмеженими можливостями та проблему депресії. Як на мене, хімії між героями було замало. Легка книжка для читання)
