So this book has me divided.
I liked the story but not the writing. Well the writing wasn’t bad it just wasn’t that good. The story however was interesting enough for me to finish the book.
Not sure I will continue the series though.

I'll be honest, the plotline was not bad at all. What I disliked was how rushed a lot of the scenes felt. As someone who has lightly dabbled in writing, I find that the scenes I rush are the scenes I dislike writing the most or am fighting writer's block to complete. Nonetheless, if these scenes were lengthened I feel like I could have enjoyed it just a bit more. I also spent a lot of time wishing that the main character would have made different decisions to change the outcomes she ended up in. Although I recognize her decisions created more drama (in a sense), it also created a small annoyance.
