I like Astley more than Nick is this one. And throughout the whole book Zara is just winning on how much she missies Nick, and if he'll love her now that she turned even when people are dying around her. She gets really annoying in this book.

Really good. I hate how it really doesn't have an ending though. I'm mean, I was reading it thinking I was gonna get another chapter
Spoilerwith her confronting Nick again,
but no, it just ends! Oh well, hope the next book comes out soon!

Note: I read this whole series in like 2 weeks and didn't immediately rate/review, so I'm gonna be pretty vague, especially if I'm afraid I'm mixing up what happened in which book.

Why yes, I did read this in one day after finishing off book 2. I liked some of the twists in this and was annoyed by alpha boy being all alpha. But interesting movement of the story overall.

I really love these books! They have everything you could look for in a book. But now I am slightly frustrated after the ending of this one.As much as I loved Nick in the other two, I really think he should have stayed in Valhalla. I mean, Astly has really grown on me. I want him and Zara to be together.

I always love it when the damsel in distress becomes the hero. Zara and Astley's relationship gets explored more in this book and I can't wait to see how the whole faery war turns out in book four.

Wow.
This was worse than [b:Captivate|6600137|Captivate (Need, #2)|Carrie Jones|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1250275382s/6600137.jpg|6793984] and that's saying something.
It was repetitive and annoying and I skimmed the whole thing.

I refuse to read the next book.
In fact, I don't even understand why there's another book coming out.

It definitely seems like I'm reading a book written by a 16 year old. Zara is selfish and while everyone calls her heroic, the only reason she does everything is for nick, people get hurt and even die because of her selfishness. It's clear astley loves her, he moves mountains just so she can be happy. I'm not a Nick fan anymore, either. Something about him just doesn't sit right with me. Besides the fact that she is blind to everything Astley has done for her, it's a decent book. I hope they end up together in the end, and it isn't nick she ends up with.
