An enjoyable installment in the series which shows us that there is something Mrs. Jeffries can't do: cook. It also marks the inclusion of Ruth Cannonberry into the group of sleuths. The mystery was nof my favorite in the series, but it was good.

It's been a while since I read a Mrs. Jeffries book and I loved it. Mainly because, Betsy and Smythe seem to be getting closer to being together. Swoon.
