What a richly spooky tale! It’s hard to know who to trust, which makes you question the sanity of the four main characters. Our unnamed main character is the epitome of an unreliable narrator...or is she? It's a short, but compelling page turner.

It's also worth noting that the run-on sentences can be tricky to follow. I did have to stop and reread sentences several times to make sure I understood what I was reading, but honestly, if you miss a sentence here or there, it doesn't really make a difference. (Did you see what I did there? 😉)

Not the ending I was expecting, but I like ambiguous/sudden endings that give you more to think about and decide on yourself. Thinking about watching the haunting of bly manor now.
