If you enjoy a slow burn whodunit, regularly want more character backstory, and enjoy watching a scene unfold from several angles, you may enjoy this book.
For me, it was far too slow, and even with a sped-up audiobook I almost gave up several times in - the detectives themselves were the only ones keeping me going. I kept thinking, "we get it, no one liked this guy! let's move it along!"

It was a little slow in the beginning but speeds up in the middle. There's a lot of characters to remember but overall this was really good. I was NOT expecting the plot twist.
