A Crown This Cold and Heavy - 4/5
Book 3 of Kingdom of Lies had me hooked! Prisca, separated from Lorian, faces impossible odds against Regner while forming dangerous alliances. Lorian’s arc shines, Prisca grows stronger, and I’m obsessed with Asinia and Madinia. The ending was devastating—I had to dive into book 4 right away!

The best in the series so far. Lots of action and we did get more POV for other characters. This would be one hell of a fantasy if more was filled out and there were less love scenes. Lots of skips in time that could have developed the plot and characters. I did appreciate the mourning of the characters.
I also love that Lorian is a good guy, even if he is supposed to be bad.
I expected the ending but given the type of book this is, I am not worried lol.
