It took me to around page 250 before things started to get really interesting. It was slow moving and a bit boring. There were a few twist but overall predictable. It was a quick read but overall it was meh.

I did expect the ending and who was behind the whole thing (aside from Lila whom we know killed her husband). But the book was still entertaining, as many things unraveled throughout the book. I was able to piece things together, but it was still a good read. I also loved the character depth of Lila, and learning about her upbringing and childhood was really heartbreaking.
