This one didn’t really leave me satisfied. I liked Georgia and Moose as people but I’m not entirely convinced about their relationship. This is only because we don’t really see them getting to know each other better, it’s mostly just focussed on Moose and his family issues.

Despite this, I did enjoy this book (just not as much as the first). I just wish their had been more to it. It felt as though nothing really happened. I’m also upset about how it ended. Proposals are sweet and all but not when they’re ruined by chatting about equality between men and women. As important as that message is, I don’t want it tainting what could be considered the most romantic thing that’s happened in the book.

I’ve also noticed that Erin liked to use really specific numbers in her books. I used to think it was a character trait but then I learnt that it is used everywhere. That made it a bit annoying but it wasn’t a big deal.

The characters, community, actions and reactions...all of these elements are important in either drawing me into a story or make me feel like a silent observer. Erin Wright once again has drawn me in with the Firefighters of Long Valley series!

In Inferno of Love, we watch as Deere “Moose” Garrett’s planned out life takes some twists and turns, and Georgia Rowland, a hard working, determined banking branch manager (who has to deal with older men who feel a woman shouldn’t be a bank manager...in 2018...but sadly true in some instances) tiptoe around their growing attraction.

In classic Erin Wright style, I was laughing, nodding my head in agreement (especially for Georgia who is a real gem!) and touched (especially for Sparky and Troy) by all of the characters. Her stories draw you into the community she creates and leaves you looking forward to more stories involving the supporting characters! Levi, Tennessee, Troy...many great characters here!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was an ok book. I was just surprised that Moose, a 26 year old man AND Tennessee were going to allow themselves to be manipulated into a marriage. Not to mention having the carrot at the end of the stick dangled in front of you for YEARS, and constantly being moved out of reach. What century is this?

You have a brother that joined the military to get away from your father. You have a sister that is COMPLETELY DISMISSED by your parents, you know it, and do nothing to stand up for her, or even with her.

Thank goodness for Georgia because she was the only person with a spine in this group.

I have the book, and the audiobook, so I listened and read along at different pounrts. I discovered the last chapter of the book was absolutely nothing like the last chapter of the audiobook. I even went online to Amazon to check for updates. There were none. I noticed a couple of areas in the book didn't match up with the audio, but I was surprised by the book's ending.

I think the best scene in the book was between Rocky and Georgia. Other than that, it was just an OK book.

This character driven small town romance just makes your heart happy. Poor Moose has been living a shadow of the life he wants. For such a big nice guy he is so naive, but so loveable. Georgia loves her home town and has worked hard to put her life on track but her love life is anything but. An easy to read but consuming story, don't miss this oh so sensual read.

Hot firefighters and strong independent women, what more do you need. Moose and Tennessee have been destined to be together since they were born (at least according to their parents) but neither of them are too keen. Moose finally makes and stand and he and Georgia get their HEA.

I wasn’t very into this and unmotivated to continue any further. I think I’m beginning to get picky with my romance.
