"They were not the same eyes with which he had last looked out at this particular scene, and the brain which interpreted the images the eyes resolved was not the same brain. There had been no surgery involved, just the continual wrenching of experience." (41)

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish by Douglas Adams is the fourth book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. Like everything else connected to H2G2, it requires a suspension of logic. The title is about fish, but the story is about dolphins–not really, but dolphins are mentioned. This is a love story about Arthur Dent and Fenchurch. You can start the H2G2 series at the beginning or jump in here. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Hm..., I think I skipped book three- but I didn't notice on my own. Did I really skip book three? I feel like the things they talked about were in the last book I read...

Fun, quirky, quick read. Not much substance to it, but it doesn't disappoint. Reading book three might help.

Перед остання книга серії, вже не така чудова як перші дві, але все ж хороша

I wonder if Fenchurch is one of the earliest Manic Pixie Dream Girls. She makes Trillian seem fully fleshed out.

Also Arthur and Ford seem like completely different characters, and not in a way that would imply growth. Ford is suddenly Zaphod and Arthur is suddenly self assured.

It's weak enough that I don't know if I want to bother with the rest of the series.

Lost interest once Arthur started dating Fenchurch. Felt like the genre shifted, and Adam’s heart wasn’t in the ‘weirdness’ anymore

This entire series is such utter nonsense, but it is very fun to read nonsense.
