Again, action packed and a gripping story. It did drag on a little, but the world kept being built up and I was excited the whole way through! I love how things aren't forgotten; a character's death actually means something. Characters who try and do the right thing are taken advantage of. Black and white, evil and good, become blurred.

What? What? Like...what just happened? Um.........where's book three?

OK, time for real words. I liked this a lot. This was a book where I could see the pieces move around to set up for the 'kill' (aka the third book), and I love those type of books. Yes, there were a few things that I thought were meh, but not enough to lower it in star ending. And the ending...I just need to read the next book right after I save this review. I need to know things!

It is just impossible to summarise the story in a couple of lines and that's the beauty of it...
It has politics, intrigue, thrill, action, magic, turmoil, the victory, the loss...
The perfect follow up to Book 1.

EDIT:
Second Read. The book is even better than I remembered.
