This story has two features which are quite a bit innovative in my record as reader:

* The activity; I don't recall having read anything about designers and craftspeople behind the attire and costumes that enhance and contribute to many perfomances in sports, television, flicks, theatre and more. So, the tribute paid to them by this book is deserved and welcomed.
* The approach to the second chance trope, since there is not that one typical coming back to the MCs' behaviors in the past, as much regarding their individual backgrounds as well as their time together.

In relation to the second thing, I have some observations. That approach, more vague than usual requires more from the reader and that was good, but at once I was lightly annoyed for it, with a feeling of missing things in the story. And such feeling increased between chapters 5 and 6; I got the impression that there was one chapter lost between those two, one that stopped in how they reestablish their relationship.

Anyhow, even with those issues the story turned out to be satisfying for me.

A sweet, emotional, passionate, sad, surprisingly sexy short story about second chances.
I'm always surprised how these two authors manage to make me feel so much in just a few pages.

Lovely. This was cute and nice and heartwarming. I loved the first half, but I felt the second half was a little rushed and a little underdeveloped. It's an enjoyable story, though. I really enjoy this pair's work and I look forward to reading more.

Really, seriously sweet. A bon bon for anyone who enjoyed Kinky Boots. Plus, good advice for anyone who’s a supervisor on how to get the best from your people. But, there is no cat, no pink paint and I doubt Gary looks like this. So, the cover’s a complete miss.

This was honestly pretty terrible. There was way too much happening for 40 pages.
And all the time jumps were just as unnecessary.
