Loved this one - took me a little to get into it but has such good meaning, plot twists and I’m attached to the characters

I loved this. I read it quickly couldn’t put it down. At the same time I needed more from it. I needed more with Beyah and Samson. I was a bit disappointed in Beyah how quickly she became obsessed with him. I understand no one was able to understand her, but after what she went through, I was upset. This book at a few moments when I had to take a break like when Samson heard Beyah on the phone say Sara was a locker room girl. It hurt. I love Sara. She was my favourite. I wish Beyah’s dad spent more time with her, same with Alana. But the little moments they all shared I valued. I did lack an understanding with Beyah’s bond with Alana, I needed some closure they Alana stepped up as a role-model in her life besides that one scene. But still a great book!

COHO strikes again!!!! I felt all the feels, the story of Beyah and Samson is touching.
-----------------------> Spoiler Alert <------------------------------

My absolute favorite part is when Beyah picks up Samson from prison. I cried happy tears reading about him walking out those gates, expecting no one, but hoping for her to be there. EPIC.
