The writing style was fine and the idea was okay, but the plot took twists that were absurd, and not in a good way. The story is about a high school teacher who gets one of his students pregnant then ends up a lonely bitter old man watching his daughter grow up with another father. That part is decent, but the details and insights are lacking. Meh.
