If you have read Tears of Tess by Pepper Winters or the popular cat and mouse duet
Haunting and Hunting Adeline then this book is for you. I would say this is milder but same themes and general feelings as this book. So I had a hard time at first because I didn't know this was where the plot was going. However, it was good with plot twist and there was some spice I would give it 3/5 on the spice scale. Please read triggers because from the first book to this one it is a deep dive into darkness. I like the fact that Ryth isn't perfect on looks, so often the female character is skinny and beautiful with a flaw. I like you get to know the guys better in this book and how they feel for Ryth. The plot twist towards the end was epic and left me wanting to jump into the next book.

What the hell is going on???

I gave book #1 5/5⭐️ and I was looking forward to reading "Hers". But what in the gods name happend?? It went from a taboo stepbrother-smut to human trafficking in 0,2 seconds and I'm not here for it.

The writing in book 1 was fine, because it was easy, but the author has major problems in this book. They are also repeating them self quit often. And the action scenes was 20 pages too long.
It almost makes me believe this book was written by another author.... could it be ghost-writing? *Tinfoil hat on⛑️*

*spoilers ahead*

The MCs are also the dumbest people I have ever read about. Their actions makes NO sense. Ryth is angry at Caleb for playing a role so he could save her from fucking HUMAN TRAFFICKING. Oh my lord, use a brain cell, Ryth.

Did I enjoy this book? No. Will I read the next book? Probably.

2/5⭐️
1/5📝
2/5🌶 (the MCs only have a few chapters together)
