Very very Irish, and had a real charm about it. Hated every character (except maybe Maeve) but not in a way that made me hate the book. If anything it made it more compelling.

Very easy read, and quickest I’ve finished a book in a while. Really captured the struggle of figuring life out, and the people that come and go (and come back), and did a great job of exploring a toxic friendship in a very realistic relatable way. Not sure I ever liked Katie, but i did want her to succeed. FUMING that we never properly found out what happened to Pamela, but that’s life.

The final third kinda peters out a bit, but the narration and tone made it really enjoyable
