This book has some of the most original characters and world building I’ve read in a long while! Some of the dialogue is rather YA but for a quick and super light hearted feel-good detective read I enjoyed and would read other books! 

It’s almost like clue+ Bridgerton parody

I would not say this book is going to go down as a modern classic, but it was very fun and entertaining. I would honestly read a series of Vivek Drake and Beatrice Steele solving mysteries and having ~tension~. There's like a lot of weird stuff going on (like why was Mary a werewolf lol) that maybe could have been cut, but it's not like the plot really dragged at any moment so it didn't hinder the story or anything. But again, very fun and lighthearted and I would love for this to become a series.
