I thought this was another Harley collection bit it wasn't. Mad Love is still fantastic, bug also got some great Scarecrow and Two-Face stories.

It's one of my favorite comic storylines outside the mainstream DC comics. And it comes from arguably the best-animated superhero. Batman: The Animated Series featured Harley Quinn who became a popular character in her own right and later appeared in several films, comics, TV shows, etc.

Mad Love shows us the origin of Harley Quinn and how she became Joker's partner. While I do love the animated episode of the same name, I think the comic is a bit better because of the pacing and even Jim Gordon had more screentime in the story.

Overall, it's a fantastic read, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves Batman The Animated Series.

Also, RIP Arleen Sorkin, the original voice of Harley Quinn. Batman: TAS would not be the same without her.

I took this book after a second browsing in a local shop. I have to say I thought this was more of a wacky approach to Batman (considering the art-style which is very much Archie comics-like). I like the art style but just could not link it to rather serious Batman story.

Man was I wrong. I guess if I ever saw Batman The Animated Series I would have known better.

This must be some of the best Batman stories I ever read - starting from Mad Love and then moving to others. Some are truly sad, tragic stories (e.g Harlequin, Scarecrow and Two-Face stories) while some are a little bit far-fetched and not that clear (Demons story).

But in overall this is beautiful collection - both in art and quality. One that taught me again not to judge the book by its cover :)

Recommended to all fans of action, adventure and of course Batman.

Bellissima la storia principale, quella che dà il titolo al volume, dove si raccontano le origini di Harley Quinn e si capisce bene il rapporto triangoloso fra Harley, il Joker e... Batman (XD), meno interessanti invece le "other stories".
