Overall, I enjoyed this story, particularly the focus on ballet and Paris, and even the mystery-solving subplot. Most of it perfectly fit the fluffy love story that I wanted to read in the spirit of Valentine's Day. However, the plot twist near the end was almost enough to make me stop reading the book with only three chapters left!

I enjoyed this audiobook and have really love Imani Jade Powers’ narration.

As a former ballet dancer and eternal Francophile myself, I was super excited to read this. I loved the descriptions of the museums and streets and culture of Paris. I loved the friendships Mia gained throughout her time attending the ballet school in Paris. I loved the simple mystery of trying to confirm if an ancestor of hers was a dancer painted by Dégas. I loved her whirlwind Parisian summer romance. Very swoon worthy.

This book was cute! A little predictable but a great, lighter read if you want to read something really quick or get out of a reading slump.

I really enjoyed this through the entirety of the book. I could not put it down a day and read almost half of it just today. Definitely will read more from this author.

This was a perfectly cute YA romcom.

It was pretty predictable from start to finish. Nothing really wowed me about it, but there also wasn't much to dislike either.

It is an exact 3-star read. Aaaand that's about all I have to say about it.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

This is a very sweet YA read!  Lots of Ballet and lots of Paris!  This made me want to travel again so badly!  The author does a great job of weaving in that Paris feel throughout the story.  Here we have a coming of age adventure, mixed with a family mystery in the background of this story.

Mia is a super driven 17 year old who is putting everything on the line to follow her dreams.  She has landed a coveted spot in the Paris Ballet summer internship program and the readers get to follow along in her process of developing her skills (Ballet and romance that is).

The classic YA story of getting distracted by a boy - yep we all did it when we were young.  Unfortunately that boy causes both joy and pain through her program but she learns so much along the way.

I recommend this to my ya lovers, my Paris lovers and my ballet lovers.  Such a cute story!
